Flood Damage Mitigation & Restoration

Upon arrival, we will obtain your authorization to begin mitigation services on the flood damaged areas of your property. We evaluate all affected areas, beginning with the source, to establish the initial scope of work and outline the best course of action.

We begin by using extraction units to remove water, which minimizes further damage .  Carpet pad will often be removed and disposed of. Wet insulation, ceiling tiles, dry wall and all other absorbent materials will also be removed.

The best defense to mold growth is to quickly eliminate unwanted water.  UDK will also apply an EPA–approved antimicrobial treatment to affected areas as a step to reduce bacterial reproduction. This treatment is safe for children and pets.

We strategically place industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to accelerate evaporation. In addition, UDK monitors moisture levels to ensure the drying process is proceeding correctly and rapidly in order to prohibit mold and mildew growth.

We understand that every item in your home is precious and they will receive our greatest care. UDK’s advanced facilities are dedicated to cleaning and eliminating bacteria from your belongings. This process will also eliminate mold growth and odors.

Once mitigation is complete, our team of professional contractors will begin reconstruction of walls, floors, ceilings, structural elements and woodwork to their pre-loss condition. We want your home to match your memory of it before the flood damage.
