Tony Wilde from Utah Disaster Kleenup visited Fresh Living with important tips for Spring Maintenance and Preparedness.
Prior to Utah Disaster Kleenup Tony Wilde worked for the State of Utah’s, Division of Emergency Management for just under six years. In his capacity as a trainer for the state he was charged with teaching private sector businesses in planning for disasters, by use of Business Continuity Planning or BCP. In addition to BCP he is also a certified trainer of C.O.O.P. or Continuity of Operations Planning, which is the Government equivalent to BCP.
Along with BCP and C.O.O.P., Tony has trained thousands of private citizens on personal preparedness and was heavily involved in promoting the Great Utah Shakeout. This year’s Shakeout will be held April 21st.
He is also a certified trainer in Incident Command System or ICS, Emergency Operations Center Management and Operations, and Multi-hazard Planning for Schools. Additionally he was involved in 100+ tabletop, functional and Full-scale exercises as a participant, controller, and observer.
Before the State of Utah, Tony worked for Discover Financial Services for 16 years, 12 as a Corporate Trainer. His focus was in Managerial and Supervisory leadership training. He also facilitated 200+ Microsoft Office suite classes. He began his training career in Customer Service and Sales Training. He has also written/co-wrote 15 courses on subjects ranging from positive attitudes, dealing with change, and sales.
